Clinical Mentorships

Designed for therapists to enhance diagnostic and clinical reasoning skills, the Sensory Processing Disorder Foundation’s Clinical Mentorship program provides clinicians with a unique opportunity to receive assessment and intervention training in SPD. Advanced clinicians from around the world come to STAR Center to be mentored by our clinical staff in administering standardized evaluations and to learn about the latest research-based treatment of SPD, Autism, ADHD, and other developmental and behavioral disorders. Your child may have an opportunity to participate in the Mentorship program while at STAR Center.

The other thing about the STAR Center that I love, is that they are not territorial about SPD nor do they think they are the only OT’s in the world who can effectively facilitate treatment for SPD.
