STAR Center is excited and honored to introduce Dr. Michael Frank, our pediatrician at STAR Center. Dr. Frank assists with pediatric/medical issues for children participating in multidisciplinary evaluations (MDE), for children evaluated in our Feeding Program, and for clients visiting STAR from out of town who need of pediatric care while in Denver.

As part of the multidisciplinary evaluation (MDE) team Dr. Frank evaluates the medical contributors to behavioral and sensory symptoms. His role is investigates if conditions such as ADHD, Autism, Asperger’s Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, etc. might coexist with Sensory Processing Disorder, or may be the more significant diagnoses.

He is also the medical team member in Dr. Kay Toomey’s SOS Feeding Solutions at STAR on the feeding evaluation team. His role is to medically evaluate all children who participate in feeding evaluations.

Dr. Frank also assists in acute pediatric medical concerns that may arise for families who come to STAR from out of town if their children need medical services. He can see your child first at the STAR Center and if additional medical/pediatric services are needed he can refer you and your child to his pediatric practice located near to STAR.

Dr. Frank is Board Certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He did his undergraduate Studies at Stanford University and got his MD from The University of Texas at Galveston. He did his pediatric residency at The Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio associated with Ohio State University. He has been in general pediatric practice with Southeast Denver Pediatrics in Denver, Colorado for 28 years. He has specialized in ADHD, SPD, Sensory Based Feeding Disorders and associated behavioral conditions for the past 12 years.
